The tool bar at the top has just one box with all of the types of rests pictured. How do I select just one, for example, an eighth rest vs a quarter rest?

For example use the "5" for your quarter note, but instead of ticking a sound note, tick the "0" instead. So if you are writing tuba parts.....a bass line in "C" time would go "5"...... then "D" then "0" then 'D" then "0"
