MS3 not ready to appropriate .mscz "open app" binding
MS3 rudely told my MacOS that he wants to be called for all .mscz files. This is hugely inconvenient and inappropriate for a Beta, as moderately serious problems remain (e.g., timing corruption reported by @SDG and many crashes) and my (and others') use of MS2 is likely to persist for a while.

I know it's not supposed to be that way, and things were explicitly done on Windows to make sure this oens't happen. No insight into whether it is already a known issue on macOS or not, but thanks for reporting - definitely, the intent is not to create those associations!

I also don't know how to undo it. My first attempt (File Info panel "all like this") failed.

It was not supposed to happen, indeed. Anyway, you can right-click any .mscz/.mscx file, Open With... -> Other, select MuseScore 2 from the list and toggle the checkbox "Always open with".

So doesn't this need to get fixed then for next Beta and/or RC?
One thing that was done on Windows is renaming the executable to Musescore3.exe, maybe something like this is needed on Mac too?
