Compared to 2.x, there is too much space between lines in multi-line text, as least on Windows 10. It might seem a small difference, but since a big part of the art of lead sheet engraving is conserving vertical space to fit charts onto one page where possible, it can matter more than you might think.

2.3.2:

3.0:

I don't know if the font itself changed or if it's a metrics thing or if it has to do with change in Qt or freetype or however text is rendered these days (could be system-dependent).

Comments

The font size of your 3.0 example seems a little smaller. However, the line spacing should still adjust accordingly to font size (em size relative to font, not a specific pt).

As lasconic did all the different commits to move and to rename the fonts, he might be able to explain, why MuseJazzText in 3.0.0 and MuseJazz in 2.3.2 are different fonts?

I used a line spacing of 1.15 in word, which is quit common, and for me the new font (MuseJeazzText, otf) has too much space between the lines. This means someone (Abraham Lee himself?) should correct the font.
