Program articulations with soundfonts

For example, a staccato mark over a note played by a violin would use a custom (downloaded) soundfont instead of just having a short duration. The same staccato mark over a brass instrument would activate a staccato brass instrument soundfont. A good start would be finally to put "pizz" and "arco" in some palette instead of having to create a staff text on a note and then right clicking and then choosing "pizz" after clicking 1,2,3 or 4. Pizz in the palette. I like it.

FYI, I put pizz. and arco in a custom palette. I call this palette "Text commands." I made pizz. default to voice 1 only and arco default to voices 1 and 2 since these cover almost every case I've seen with the exception of the occasional top line is arco and bottom line is pizz.

In this palette I also include things like a2., unis. and div. that I use a lot that do not rely on staff text properties.
