keyboar split
I ended up with a keyboard piece scored ONLY in 1 clef. It is mostly notes lower than e above middle c but should still be in 2 clefs.
I can not find a way to get it into 2 clefs. I started a new pice with 2 keyboard clefs and copied the old pice into it. It showed up in only the bass clef. I tried to copy the upper 4 notes or so with cntrl x and place them in the treble clef but apparently that's not allowed. I can not select just the top 4 out of 5 notes. It just jumps down and copies all of them.
The other way is to change where musescore splits the clefs (I think) but I don't know how to do that.
help and thanks
John

If you want notes in the other staff, enter them there. Here you'd need to add that staff first
And you seem to still be using MuseScore 2.1, better upgrade to 2.3.2 and/or 3.0-1

You can use the Split staff option
You can use the Split staff... command (found by right clicking the staff). A new staff will be created below the top staff, so start with a treble clef staff.
