1) Have started working on an SATB choral score
2) Try to Save it
3) Musescore 3.0.1 crashes
Also, Musescore 3.0.1 crashes when I attempt to Open an already existing score.

What operating system are you on?
I am having the same issue. I am running Windows 10 64-bit. I tried to uninstall and re-install program. But no help. Note, MuseScore 2 runs fine.
Try using Help->Revert to factory settings and see if it improves.
