Ottava font does not change even via Format - Style - Text Styles. All other fonts seem to change except here, and usually in printed materials the "8" (or "15" or "22") is bold. See image from Musescore 2.3.2 versus current 3.0.1.

The number used in an ottava is not necessarily taken from the text font but instead a special symbol may be used, controlled by other settings in the Inspector. Also, the text style setting won't affect text within an already existing ottava, only newly created ottavas.

If you have a case where things aren't working even according to this, please attach your actual score and steps to reproduce the problem.
