Parts are not working
I am here to report a bug in musescore 3. When I do parts with the correct instruments, it plays the whole score when I am on the part. In musescore 2, I know that parts only play that instrument. Is this meant to happen or is it a bug?

It is a know issue and hopefully will get fixed in 3.0.3, see #109941: Regression—playback in single part instead plays full score
But to answer the question - it is meant to happen, and you are meant to use the Solo button in the mixer if you want to hear only the part. That way you have the choice, whereas in MsueScore 2 you did not. But enough people perceived that as a bug that a change is planned, as noted above.
