PDF converted .mscz files not displaying
Hi
I was using the PDF converter to convert PDFs of sheet music I had to .mscz files so I could edit the sheet music easily without a big hassle. The conversion from PDF to .mscz worked great, however when I try to open the .mscz files in musescore 3.0.2 (the latest version at the time of posting, they simply appear blank. Attached is a picture of what happens when I try to upload one of the .mscz files I converted from PDF to Musescore. Any solutions on this? I really need help, if I can't get these transcriptions done soon it'll effect my music portfolio and, by extension, my ability to get into college.

If you mean the score(s) open in MuseScore 2 but not MuseScore 3, please attach a .mscz file which exhibits such behavior.
(Meanwhile you can get the transcriptions done using MuseScore 2, then export back to pdf for college submission. MuseScore 2 and 3 can exist on the same computer.)

No, when i tried opening them in musescore 2 it gave me an error message and told me i needed to open it in the latest version of musescore.
When i tried opening them in musescore 3 it would successfully open a new score tab, but theres no content on it as you can see in the attached screenshot.

What's the mscz file size (of the converted pdf)? If it's only a few bytes, the conversion from pdf to mscz
failed.
Again, please attach a score - i.e. a pdf along with the converted mscz.

the files are only a few bytes, which means I suppose the conversion failed. Attached is one of the PDFs--there are 4 in total, all look about the same, and a mscz of the same.. Any advice on how to make the conversion from PDF to mscz work?
Years ago I used Audiveris (the same software MuseScore uses) to convert pdf files (lead sheets).
Back then, I often had to edit the pdf to make it 'easier' for Audiveris to 'recognize' the score elements.
Then it usually took a few passes, along with tweaking adjustments within the Audiveris software, to arrive at a decent conversion (which still required 'finishing touches' once in MuseScore).
My point is that sometimes it is quicker to manually enter the pdf into MuseScore.
For example, your pdf score image (shown below) has a big black non-musical thingy at the top which contains what looks like a push pin. Also, the staves are skewed and the instrument names are cut off towards the bottom of the page. Furthermore, the color palette of the score is black on gray rather than black on white - not the ideal contrast:

Where I did a quick edit to rid some of the confusing 'junk' from the pdf. I then obtained this mscz from the MuseScore PDF import:
Bass Suite A.mscz
It converted better than yours, but it still needs work.
Increasing the black/white contrast would probably help; but this requires more time and another pass through Audiveris. Eventually the conversion improves, but perhaps the score could be manually entered into MuseScore more swiftly.
