How do I add a trumpet line and sound to an existing score?
Hello,
I'd like to replace a piano line with a trumpet line.
I'd also like for this line to sound like a (virtual) trumpet upon playback.
Can anyone tell me how to do these things?

Right click the staff, choose staff/parts properties and click the Change instruments button on the left near the middle. You can then change the instrument to a trumpet and it will automatically transpose as a bonus.
