Allow copy and paste piano pedal line ornament in Musescore 3

As per the subject. Without copy and paste this is tedious to keep dragging onto the score and adjusting line length.

It's even easier if you enter it correctly from the start. Click the start note, shift click the end note and double click the line.

Oh, that's what Jojo said. 🤦‍♂️

But FWIW, you can copy/paste lines and similar elements using the "clone" feature - after placing one element, Ctrl+Shift+drag it somewhere else.

So
- open any score
- drag a fermata onto a note
- click the fermata and push ctrl-c (windows)
- click any other note and push ctrl-v
- the fermata is added to the new note
- this copy paste is as expected and works for all ornaments and text

but
- open any score
- drag a line (crescendo or pedal, etc) onto a note
- click the line and push ctrl-c
- click any other note and push ctrl-v
- nothing happens
- this copy paste used to work in Musescore 2 as far as I can remember, because that's how I normally go through a piece and annotate dynamics and articulations, but I can't do it in Musescore 3.

I mean I could be wrong and it never worked, then I apologise and this should be a feature request, but this is so instinctive I can't think of any other reason I'm doing it if it didn't use to work for all my other pieces.

Are you sure you don't mean ordinary dynamics? Or maybe you were copying/pasting the measure? Because it has never been supported for crescendo or any other lines. It would indeed be nice someday, though. A complication is that a line is not a single element with a single attachment point but a collection of possibly multiple segments across systems, with both a start and end point.
