Adding Lyrics
When adding Lyrics, they are added under the note, a lot of music has lyrics starting under a rest. I can't seem to find a way to do this.

No, sure not, it is more of a rare exception. Rest is silence, no sound, no word.
But MuseScore 3 allows it:
Select the rest, press Ctrl+L
