Staff Spacing
Greetings. First of all, thank the muse for musescore. I recall that earlier versions had an option somewhere to put more space between staffs and I can't seem to find this anywhere in the program now. The voice line lyrics are crowding into the piano staff below it. Could someone please advise?

If you need to fix one system, then use a spacer from the Breaks and Spacers palette. If you need all systems fixed, then increase the Min bottom margin in the Styles...->Lyrics menu.
These are general suggestions. There are other ways to accomplish this, so attach your score if you still don't like the results.
there is "extra space above staff" in staff properties. And there are the spacers up and down
For lyrics those should not be needed though
There is also the global staff space setting in Format / Style / Page. So, lots of ways to affect spacing, but the right answer depends on the specifics of your score. If you need further assistance, attach the score and explain where you'd like to see the space.
