Musescore 3 is taking ages to load when I click on the icon on my desktop.
When I click on the icon on my desktop nothing seems to happen for a very long time. Windows 7 and 32-bit version of the program. Version 2 loads fine. I have uninstalled version 3 and re-installed it but still this huge time lag is happening. Any suggestions, please?

Tried this, Jojo, and still about five minutes before the program loads! Also, when I loaded in a file made in Musescore 2 and saved it in 3, it no longer loads in Musescore 2 when I try, giving an error message. i have at present reverted to version 2.

A file saved in Version 3 will not open in Version 2. That is not a bug, but we could maybe do more to warn users before they try to save a file in a newer major version.
I am also curious: what is your system specs. I am also working on a relatively slow Win 7 32 bit laptop. Maybe we can compare hardware and loading times ;-)

My specs are: Windows 7 Professional, 32-bit, Pentium Dual Processor E2200 @2.20 GHz, and 4GB of RAM.
It was taking around 5 minutes for anything to happen when I clicked on the Musescore 3 icon on my desktop. All other programs on the PC are working normally, and Musescore 2 runs fine, so I have reverted to it in the meantime.
