Distorted/unintended formatting of exported PDF from MuseScore file

Hi, I'm getting a weird-looking format when I export this MuseScore lead sheet I created to a PDF. The PDF displays as shown in the screenshot (screenshot from original MS file also attached).

This is just after updating to the latest version 3.0.2.20666, rev. 8ca4d2c and rebooting computer twice.

What could be causing this and how can I fix it?

I need to export the file to a PDF in order to print it from a different computer that is connected to a printer but doesn't have MuseScore installed.

Since updating, I'm also noticing a new bug where every time I deliberately quit MuseScore, immediately afterwards I get a "MuseScore quit unexpectedly" error dialog.

Also, since updating, my MIDI keyboard is no longer recognized by MS. I'm getting used to inputting notes manually using the computer keyboard for the first time but finding it slower.

Just discovered another problem: when I click File > Print nothing happens - no print dialog opens. There is no printer installed on this comp but in all other applications I'm able to open print dialog and choose "Save to PDF". Thought maybe I could use saving to PDF as a workaround for now, but can't get that far

If there is no printer setup on your computer, there's not much pojnt in using the print dialog.

And don't use "Save to PDF" via the printing dialog, use Export as PDF instead.

Thanks Jojo. That's true. I only tried to explore that File > Print > Save as PDF option after the export as PDF showed up with the distorted characters.

Those wierd characters on Mac when using Jazz font are a know issue, see #283560: [MacOS Mojave 10.14.2] Export Pdf with Muse Jazz Text all garbled and unreadable
Those crashes on exit on Mac are a known issue too, see #281867: "MuseScore quit unexpectedly" when closing MuseScore 3.0.[1-5] on macOS with a MIDI device

Good to know it's a familiar issue, thanks. Just installed MS3 on my PC today and the score exported to PDF perfectly.
