When you add 'cresc.' or 'dim.' from the LInes palet, the symbol appears under the bar. If you want to place the symbol above the bar (f.i. because of text-lines under the bar) using the X or "Change stokrichting", this does not work. 'cresc'. changes in 'dim, and vice versa.

Wil you give me a workaround and repair this function in next version of Musescore?

Status active ⇒ by design

I believe X for harpins and (de)crescendo lines reverting their direction rather than their position is by design.
To change them from below staff to above staff use the Inspector.
