MuseScore quit unexpectedly when opening

I just upgraded to the latest version, and the app crashes upon opening. It asks if I want to restore the session that was open, and I reply "No". Then a window opens showing the Musescore app, followed by a dialog for starting a new score (or opening an existing one). This dialog is visible for about 1 second, before the whole thing crashes and disappears. I attach the apple diagnostic report that is available through the crash reporter. But for now, I can not do a thing...
