Musescore 3 to 2
The instructions I have were: to open a musescore 3 file in musescore 2, export the file in MusicXLM format to open it with version 2.
When I try to 'save as,' the only options are Musescore File (.mscz) and Uncompressed Musescore File (.mscz)
How do I save as Musescore XML ?

exporting as MusicXML is done via File > Export

Thanks. I missed seeing "xml" under Export. By the way, I had to use the "uncompressed" version.

there are both the option of mxl (compressed) or musicxml (uncompressed) in the export menu. MuseScore 2 handles both.
