Beam disappears when moving tuplets across staff

When using a piano score, the beam disappears when I create a group of 16ths, tuplets or other beamed notes, select them all - or one by one, and move them to an UPPER staff with keyboard shortcut shift-ctrl-up arrow. One by one they move fine but once the last one moves the beam either disappears (as with tuplets) or breaks and displays on the staff below detached from the notes (when using 16ths).

The problem does not happen when moving tuplet or 16th notes to a lower staff from a higher staff the same way.
