Piatti translates to finger cymbals, but finger cymbals makes a sound exactly like the triangle. What should I replace it with so it would still sound the same?

In symphonic scores, piatti is a generic term for cymbal, not finger cymbals specifically, so you need to look at the score and see if it's a ride cymbal or crash cymbal.
