Nashville number system and more
Creating a chord and lyrics chart without melody notes but with quarter note dashes is not that easy. Since all lyrics are attached to notes you need more than just the quarter note dashes.
So you have to input e.g. eight notes and then make them invisible. I don't always succeed in that, sometimes the stems or beams stay visible.
So it would be great if lyrics could be attached to different note values without the need for actual notes.
And also it would be super to be able to switch chord symbols between numbers (Nashville numbers) and letters. In Dorico this is supported even if you have to do too many clicks imho.
You can also do this in a very nice IOS app called 1chart (but no notes).

You can attach multiple words to a single note using Ctrl+space, that's probably the easiest way to do this. But really, entering the invisible notes shouldn't be that hard either, you just have to be sure to select all, not just the noteheads. If you still have trouble, feel free to attach your score and describe the difficulty in more detail, so we can understand and assist better.
Nashville notation is a request we get periodically, hopefully someday we'll get to that!

That's great! I just tried it. I found out that on mac it's alt-space.
Looking forward to the day when Nashville numbers show up :)

For NNS, can't you just build a custom symbol palette, set the smallest rhythmic values, and then hide them? You could include slashes and null noteheads.
