Need help!!!
I need help to figure out how to add some whole notes in the same measure as eighth notes. So the whole note is being played and held by the left hand, while the same hand is playing the eighth notes in the same measure. This music is for piano. In the picture I need whole notes on the left hand on measures 8,9,10 and half notes on 11. Can someone help me?

You need to use different “voices”. In the measure of concern press N to enter note entry mode and immediately press (its either ctrl+shift+2 or ctrl+alt+2 on windows, maybe different on mac). The toolbar should have voice 2 highlighted. Now when you enter your half or whole note or rest you won’t overwrite the notes already there.
