Importing MIDI uses the wrong voice

• Mar 29, 2019 - 02:23

I'm not much of a composser, (if I composse something is often something that came while improvising on a keyboard) however, I mostly use the windows 10 app to import MIDIs I find online and change the instruments or the soundfont untill I get something I find that sounds good or as close as the original source, but, after the latest uptade, I find that importing MIDIs selects some instruments bassed on the nearest bank (pianos, electric pianos, other keyboards... etc.), for example, a MIDI that the main chorus consists on a fm piano sound, opens with the tine electric piano selected for that instrument, which may be easy to re-select, but if it consists of any of the Synths or even the drumset voice, it defaults to the first of that bank, which is a little bug

Its the first time I report a bug, sorry if its a long bug report
Cheers

Hello! In order to investigate, we would need you to attach the MIDI file you are having trouble with, and explain exactly what is going wrong with that particular file.

Well, as I have arround 200 MB in MIDIs, I could use one that I have memorized the instruments, plus a couple of screenshots between versions (also both are with the same file and without any changes to the mixer), and not only on that one, but on all of my MIDIs, as it load properly on a portable 2 version I have on a pendrive (for a laptop)

Screenshot 1 is of the windows 10 app, and the 2nd one from the portable one
