Macro Shortcuts

So basically, i want to assign a few different shortcuts (delete, accents, etc.) onto my mouse's macro buttons. I tried the shortcuts tab under Edit -> Preferences, but it seems that i can only assign keyboard buttons and not my mouse macros. Is it under a different section, or just not currently possible in this version? Thanks in advance.
