Loss of a "line" feature that is needed for harpers - now goes kablooie!

• Apr 14, 2019 - 01:31

Harp , working with latest version and a new score. Last step is to insert hand-span lines - which has worked on every version to date. These lines are used to tell the harper to place en-masse a hand to pluck the strings. The latest version has ruined this tool and trying to work around the tool ruins spacing , measure widths and more.
In the attached snapshots ( ONE, TWO, THREE, FOUR, FIVE ) , I show the progression of the failure.
ONE : finished score , selecting the first four notes to create an hand placement.
TWO : in Palette , double clicking on Line ( not Let Ring, not Palm Mute )
THREE : select the Line , which in turn changes spacing and measure widths in the four measures
FOUR : deselected in Inspector , Automatic Placement and have drug the Line to it's desired placement
FIVE : with Allow Diagonal on , moved the right end of Line to match notes
As you can see , this last action not only caused gross movement of all elements , both above and below the line in question.

What I see is that the final picture is at a different zoom than the others that makes it impossible to compare the pictures.

I tested the line in version 3.1-beta. I entered a line, turned off auto placement, moved the ends all over the place and nothing else moved, I don't understand the issue unless it was fixed between 3.0.5 and 3.1-beta.
