With a score produced from scratch in MuseScore 3?
Those texts won't work on scores imported from MuseScore 2 without manual tweaking of their staff text properties, as now the channel to switch to is called arco, befeore it was called normal.
Or change instrument, to the same it is already, for it to pick up the new channel names.
Maybe you can attach the score.
Next do as I told you (this score was apparently not created from scrtach in the latest vesion of MuseScore): either change instruments (Viola to Viola and Violoncello to Violoncello) or change the channel assignment of all voices of that arco text to the normal channel.

Sample score in #287809: arco is corrupt, that needs to get fixed and foremost!
Measure 18, Staff 1 incomplete. Expected: 6/8; Found: 11/8
