I had a fresh install on a new computer of 3.0. It loaded and started with no issues. I then checked of updates which downloaded and installed 3.05. After that, If we open the app from the icon (not by clicking on a file), it opens for a few seconds, then it abruptly closes with no notices. Opening it by double-clicking on a score works fine. I have not checked for a log file (mostly because I don't know where to look for them).

What operating system are you using?
What file is the default set in your preferences?
Start it by double clicking on a score, then in Edit > Preferences disable the Startcenter, exit and start via the icon again. Does it start and not crash the?
Also is there some special error showing when the crash happens? Like something about a dll missing reg. Open GL?
