Articulations

Make it so the articulations are immediately above the notes, just like how they were on Musescore 2. (See image)

Accents are not supposed to be above the notes if they are up stem. The rules of notation call for them to be on the notehead side except in some very specific cases (multiple voices, certain types of percussion writing, etc). MuseScore 2 was no different. If you are using multiple voices, MsueScore 2 & 3 both place the accents above the notes. Maybe you were using the MDL extension that provided a custom palette specially for use with percussion? You can use this extension in MsueScore 3 as well, but it's not meant for ordinary writing.

If you have some special unusual reason to need to place accents above even in cases where the rules of notation call for them to be below, just press "X" to flip them above. You can also create a custom palette as described in the Handbook to make it easier to place such accents.
