Playback button and synthesizer grayed out

Does anyone know how to solve this problem? I tried everything, reset to factory settings, installed asio4all, installed latest driver, went to preferences however as seen in the screenshot, there is no option. Also tried to download the soundfont, however I do not know if I extracted to the right folder. For like 30 minutes the playback button started to work and I could hear the sounds, but then it stopped again for no apparent reason. If anyone know how to fix the problem, it would help a lot since I need this software for a project in university. In the screenshots, in the 3 or 4 one is where I placed the soundfond, the highlighted one. Thanks.
