Small tenuto mark above score parts that I cannot remove
Hi Everyone,
Does anyone know how to remove this small blue tenuto mark above my score? I am not sure how it got there unless I have pressed Shift + N at start up but even so, nothing I try seems to delete it. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Most probably this is not a tenuto mark but a minus sign, indicating that this measure is shorter than its nominal duration, like in a pickup measure.

Oh ok, that might be what it is then. I hadn't thought of that so thankyou for this, Jojo.
Is there a way to remove it or is it perhaps hidden when printing?

It won't print. You can hide it from disaplay too, untick View > Show unprintable

Is there a way to remove it
increase the actual duration of the measure to match the time signature unless it's part of a pickup measure. Otherwise it isn't normal to have a random measure that's short.

The pick up was deliberate, I had locked it in at start up; I hadn't seen the minus sign before and thought it was a tenuto.

If you are confident that you won't need it at all, you can go to menu item: View -> and untick 'Mark Irregular Measures'.
