When creating the attached score, I had hoped for a way to place the brackets within the Lyric line rather than needing to add System text. As this function was not available, I used System Text for the four brackets and the verse numbers. This in itself was a mere inconvenience and can be relegated to a suggestion.

The bug I am reporting was encountered upon reopening the score and finding the first two brackets and the verse numbers had reverted to being just above the staff. I had attached them to the top note in the base clef. The work around is simply to drag them back into place. I attempted to recreate the bug, but they now stayed in place.

If you can find steps to reproduce this, let us know. However, I would suggest that system text is not good for this, because it is treated specially with respect to which staff it appears on (always top visible staff in score, and all parts). better to use staff text, which will always displays on the staff you actually attach it to. It's possible that has something to do with whatever it was you saw.
