Musescore 3.1 cannot open on my computer

Ever since I updated to Musescore v3.1, I am unable to open Musescore. When I select it from my desktop homepage, I get an error message: The previous session quit unexpectedly. Restore session? If I choose yes, musescore opens and closes immediately. If I choose no or X, musescore opens for a couple seconds before closing automatically.

Please tell me what I should do next. Thank you.
