MuseScore/MuseScore2/MuseScore3

Can I combine all my work on MuseScore into one location?

MuseScore 3 can read MuseScore 2 and 1 scores, but they may, and most probably will, need adjustments to look good.as long as you have not converted all 1 and 2 scores to 3, better keep them separated and also keep those MuseScore versions installed

I keep all the scores I finished to my satisfaction in MScore 2 in a seperate place, but converted all others to 3 since I'll only work with 3 onwards. (Open. Reset style & placement. See if it looks good. Save in Mscore 3 folder. Had no real issues, but YMMV.)
You could change the default Scores folders to point to the same directory. I've done that for the Development version, but I realize it could be risky. Doing the same for Plugins etc. is probably an even worse idea.

I'm doing it slighly different, not using the default folder at all, a Scores folder with all MuseScore 1 scores, and subfolders 2.x and 3.x in that for score from those versions. And an old and 2.x/old subfolder where I move the scores I converted to a newer version
