Cross-staff notation
Hi,
I cannot figure out how to cross-beam the notes from the bass clef up into the treble clef. I highlighted the notes, pressed CTRL+SHIFT+downward arrow or upward arrow to get the notes to go back and forth between the bass clefs, but I cannot get them to go up to the treble clef. Likewise, I cannot get the notes in the treble clef to go downwards into the middle bass clef. Any ideas?

Are these staves belonging to the same instrument? This is mandatory for cross staff notation.
I'm not at my computer currently, so can't look at your score

There are three staves- One treble clef on top and two bass clefs below. I created the score using a grand staff (piano) and then adding a second piano but only using the treble clef. Is it possible to create a piano score from the start with three or four staves?

Yes, is is, just add a staff to.the existing instrument in the Add instruments dialog
