Timeline screen prevents interaction with interface

• Jul 4, 2019 - 20:52

So I opened the timeline screen on one of my scores, which opened as a full-screen interface covering up the entire program and leaving me unable to edit or access my files. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling Musescore 3 but to no avail. I can still play scores using the space bar but I can't even use the timeline as normal, let alone the program itself. I can't resize the panel as normal nor close the window via Windows Task Manager, so any help would be appreciated.

Regards

FYI, reinstalling leaves settings intact. Instead, try Help / Revert to Factory Settings. Or, you can donwload, install, and run the plugin (see Download menu above, on this page) to reset window positions.

You don't say what OS you are on, but on WIndows, Alt+Space gives you access to the title bar menu, which should allow you to resize it. Other OS's presumaby have something similar. Also, simply pressing F12 will close the Timeline.
