Double time signatures
While trying to go from 4/4 to 2/4 then back to 4/4, I keep getting a double time signature so it looks like 44/44 to 22/44 to 44/44. What did I do wrong or what key strokes did I do to get this problem? thanks for you help and assistance.

What version are you using? This was fixed some time ago.
It was fixed for scores created with the current version, but scores originally created with an older version (prior to 3.1, I think) can still have this problem. To clean those older files up, go to Format / Style / Page, turn off courtesy time signatures, save, reload, then you can turn courtesy time signatures back on.
