How to: merging of files
Is there a way in Musescore to merge files--e.g. movements of a multi-movement piece that have been worked on independently--into a single file? How would measure numbering etc. be affected by this?

There is currently no method for doing this easily in version 3. You need to use a PDF utility (like PDFSam) to merge PDF's of the finished score into a single file. You always have total control over measure numbers using right click a measure, measure properties and adjusting the Add to measure number value as needed. If page numbers are an issue, you can change the starting page number in Style-?Page settings.
The feature is expected back at some point. The initial plan was this summer sometime, but I haven't seen any work being done on it. When the feature existed in version 2 there was a lot of control over things like measure numbers.
