plays half note as two quarter notes
This is driving me crazy.
Score shows a half note and playback plays two quarter notes.
Any one else have this problem?

Only in measure six the half note plays as two quarter notes.
Only in this measure.
if I change the measure to a whole note it still plays it as four quarter notes.
I have deleted the measure, saved and reopened the file, and rewritten the measure.
Still no change.

He's quite right. I looked at it in the piano-roll editor and with my articulation tools, and see nothing to account for what I hear. Research continues.

For what it's worth, I moved both notes up and down a bit, and the problem went away. But it's very mysterious.

I'm quite confused about what I'm hearing and seeing. I hear the notes as they are written (half quarter quarter). The half notes is much louder that the preceding notes, but this is because the previous notes have velocities assigned to them. One difference is that I use the Aegean sound font and the mixer says it's using the Grand Piano patch, but I'm hearing Choir aahs.
Since I normally use CC11 for SND it tried changing to CC2 and expressive patches with the same results except that the velocity changes had no effect.
