Problem starting new score after loading Ver 3

Loaded ver 3 and now when I setup a new score the staff page does not show up after I hit the finish button at the end of the start up.
The staff page for old songs come up with no problem.
I'm on windows 7

Thanks for looking at this.
I pick the 'File' pull down menu and pick 'New'.
I enter the title for the new song and hit "Next'
I pick 'Add Instrument' - "woodwinds"- 'Tenor Sax'- and then 'Next'
I choose the key signature and then 'Next
I choose the time signature and then 'next'
The work page comes up, with the side bars and menus, but the work space where the page with the staff lines would ordinarily show up is just black.
I've done many scores in the past and haven't run into this before. As I said the old scores open no problem.

Your page size is set to 0. Did you by chance create a custom style file and set it as your default in Edit / Preferences / Score? Normally the default page size comes from looking at the default paper size for the default printer on your system - maybe that is somehow telling MuseScore 0?

Anyhow, for now, go to Format / Page Settings and choose a reasonable page size.
