I'm unable to select measures while working.

I've been using MuseScore for a while now, and this is the first time I've dealt with something like this. Whenever I try to select measures it instead selects a different object. This applies to all of my projects, not just the one below.

I'm wondering if anyone has either dealt with it before or knows how to fix it.
