1) I made a large score to transcribe a new piece that was written because I liked it
2) The piece has a lot of time signature changes. After too many of them, I think Musescore bugged out because some of the time signatures appear twice at the beginning of some bars.

Looks like you are still using a somewhat older verison of MuseScore. The bug that caused this was fixed some times ago. Please update and you won't have this problem any more. Meanwhile, to fix this score, go to Format / Style / Page, turn off courtesy time signatures, save, reload, then you can turn them back on.
