kinda like a fall?
So, I'm trying to create a latin jazz song, and theres a half note halfnote measure where the last half note has a quick gliss into it, lets just estimate the gliss is on the last eighth or sixteenth note before the second half note, but when I put the gliss on it distributes it through the whole 2 beats...how do I fix this?

If you mean the computer-generated playback, you don't, the playback of glissandi is fixed. it's possible you don't really want a gliss but a "scoop", those symbols are on the same palette but do not currently play back at all.
As for playback, you can split the first note into the tied version, having the gliss only start on the last note of your chosen duration.
When notation is equally important, notate regularly, select it and uncheck play in the inspector. Then add the tied notation in a separate voice and mark that invisible.
