Composing series of tuples

Lorsqu'on compose un n-olet, il faudrait rester dans la même
division pour la suite

When composing in tuples, it's very frustrating to have to reask for tuple at every tuple.
Moreover, if you compose - say - quarter notes in triplets, you have to select first half note then 3 to come back to quarter notes. It's really not intuitive...

It's possible by entering the note input mode and first creating the tuplets with rests and later entering the pitches.
If each measure contains the same number of triplets, it's possible to create a single measure with triplets with rests, selecting this measure and pressing "R" to duplicate this measure.

There has been discussion of a tuplet input mode in the past but no one has decided to implement it.

As for using a 1/2 note to indicate 3 1/4 notes in the triplet, this is totally logical because you could use the same triplet and enter 8th note, 8th rest 1/4 note followed by 4 16th notes if you wanted to. How would you suggest we let MuseScore know that is your intention? The half note is the total duration of the triplet.
