Never happened to me. You mean deleting such a rest using Del, or do you mean Ctrl+Del? Well, neither crashes when I try it, so we need more detailed steps to reproduce and probably a sample score

No, I have a score (choir) with two voices. I dissociate the two voices in two staves, I transfer 2nd voice notes to 1st voice and delete 2nd voice rests with key. And musescore crash on the last rest of the measure.
