Why can't I have 4 measures per line on 16 bar song?

Hi, lately I've been having a hell of a time breaking every X measures. I've made hundreds of Musescore lead sheets and arrangements and never had as much trouble as I've had the past couple weeks. Maybe my settings were toggled?

Anyways, I'm writing out a 16 bar lead sheet but can't have 4 measures per line. I can have 2... but I think it looks a little silly. I've tried decreasing stretch and staff space. When I toggle the staff space just right I can get 4 bars per line... but the music is so small you'd need a microscope to read it.

This can't be impossible to do... right?

It could be impossible if this lead sheet has a lot more notes or lyrics or something else that makes the minimum width of measures so wide that 4 will not fit on a system without shrinking it too much. If you attach the score someone could look at it and possibly give you other options.

I guess that's because you reduced the staff size. It's not actually all that tiny, but smaller than one might prefer I agree. Still, even if I reset the staff size to the default (1.764mm), and reset the stretch, I get three measure per line, and then reducing stretch a single notch gets it back to four.

So, I can only wonder if you attached the wrong score? This one seems to fit four per line quite easily.
