Drags, buzzing and echoes on playback

I use Musescore 3.3 on a Dell laptop with Realtek sound (drivers up to date). This could be an issue with my equipment but I am reporting it here as this is the only programme where it appears. It occurs randomly but is happening more frequently that when I try to playback a score, the playback will drag, with a buzzing noise often on the first beat of the bar, and the sound continuing to echo. If I have a score where this happens, I can add to the score and the additions will often play perfectly. Though when I open the score in another session, the results may be different. The fragment of a score I am attaching seems to have the fault every time I open it and it starts with the tempo change. So far I have not had a problem, when I export the score and play it back as an audio file.
