I downloaded the latest version of MuseScore tonight and now when I click the note head it will only sound once. When I click it again it mutes the sound (sometimes it takes 3 or 4 clicks on the same note head before the sound is muted).
Comments
The "muted" note is a note that has been put into edit mode. Double clicking puts almost anything into edit mode. Look at the lower right corner of the MuseScore window and it will say "Edit mode" followed by some numbers.
