When changing the enharmonic spelling during note input, that change should be made to subsequent notes in the same measure. For instance, if I change a C# to a Db on beat 2, I probably still want a Db on beat 4.

I can show you cases in repertoire where you don't (both spellings occur legitimately in the same measure), but that does not have any impact on the rightness of your suggestion.

I agree with this request. In most cases, the same spelling is required in the same measure. In addition, the first proposed spelling is often in the wrong way. For instance, in E minor, writting a B sharp needs to press 2 times on the shortcut: the first press produces the D double flat, not at all expected in this context. It slows significantly the input with a MIDI keyboard in romantic music.
