1) new score, jazz lead sheet template
2) add chord symbol C7(b9)
3) Format / Style / Chord Symbols
4) increase modifier scaling

Result: the b9 gets larger, but the parentheses don't, That's because of a typo in chords_jazz.xml that prevents them from being correctly recognized as modifiers. They do respect to superscripting, probably because there is a catch-all for that, but see also #297246: Chord symbols: in some cases, 0 (zero) does not turn into ø. So these should probably be dealt with together.
