crash when copy/pasting into new file

create a new score (mine was a 4-part chorale)

isolate one voice line of that score by using the selection filter (I was trying to isolate voice 2- the alto line)

Click the first note and hold shift then click the last note to isolate the entire part

copy that line (command + C)

open a new file with appropriate number of measures (for mine, it would be 9 measures)

paste previously copied voice part into new score

the entire app crashes every time I try and do this. I have attached my file to test if needed.
